Hello, I’m Chao-Jung — a CS Master’s student at UC San Diego with a background in interactive systems, and a growing interest in machine learning, systems, and real-world applications.

Previously, I was a research assistant at the Dynamic Graphics Project (DGP) lab, University of Toronto, where I collaborate with Dr. Ludwig Sidenmark, Dr. Mauricio Sousa, and Prof. Tovi Grossman. My research primarily focuses on novel interaction techniques and context-aware systems in VR/AR, aimed at enhancing user experiences.

Earlier, I also worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the HCI lab, National Taiwan University, where I explored innovative haptics research under the guidance of Prof. Mike Y. Chen. During my time there, I completed a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at National Taiwan University.

I’m excited to continue building systems that bridge perception, interaction, and intelligent behavior, whether in academic research or industry-driven applications.

Feel free to explore my academic and creative work on my website!
